Researchers, patients optimistic in fight against alpha-gal syndrome
A support group and a lab in the St. Louis area provide resources for people with the allergy to mammal products — and evidence that its effects can be reversed.
We’re anticipating another big year for climate and environmental news. We’re keeping an eye on the record-breaking snowfall in parts of the Midwest while also watching the latest climate research, the Farm Bill, the Clean Water Rule, infrastructure spending, and countless other topics we plan to cover in coming years.
We can’t wait to have our Report for America Corps Members, the reporters who will serve as the backbone of this project, start in June. Our 10 partners are taking applications through Jan. 31.
We’re also recruiting for five part-time “expert journalist” positions, to serve as mentors and project leaders on the desk. That deadline is also Jan. 31. Please share these opportunities widely!
Meantime, we are building our distribution network! If you would like to sign your outlet up to receive free, high-quality journalism on ag and water issues that can be published free of charge, please sign up.
All the best,
Tegan Wendland
